袋Aには赤玉5個と白玉4個,袋Bには赤玉3個と白玉5個が入っている.それぞれの袋から1個ずつ玉を取り出すとき,次の確率を求めよ.

(1) 袋Aから赤玉,袋Bから白玉が出る確率

(2) 2個の玉の色が同じである確率

袋Aから玉を取り出す試行と,袋Bから玉を取り出す試行は,独立な試行である.

(1) 袋Aから取り出した玉が赤玉である確率は,$\frac{5}{9}$

袋Bから取り出した玉が白玉である確率は,$\frac{5}{8}$

よって,求める確率は,

\frac{5}{9}\times\frac{5}{8}=\frac{25}{72}
\]

(2)

(i) 袋Aから赤玉,袋Bから赤玉が出るとき,その確率は,$\frac{5}{9}\times\frac{3}{8}=\frac{15}{72}$

(ii) 袋Aから白玉,袋Bから白玉が出るとき,その確率は,$\frac{4}{9}\times\frac{5}{8}=\frac{20}{72}$

よって,(i),(ii)は互いに排反であるから,求める確率は,

袋Aから玉を取り出す試行と,袋Bから玉を取り出す試行は,独立な試行である.

(1) 袋Aから取り出した玉が赤玉である確率は,$\frac{6}{11}$

袋Bから取り出した玉が白玉である確率は,$\frac{6}{10}=\frac{3}{5}$

よって,求める確率は,$\frac{6}{11}\times\frac{3}{5}=\frac{18}{55}$

(2)

(i) 袋Aから赤玉,袋Bから赤玉が出るとき,その確率は,$\frac{6}{11}\times\frac{4}{10}=\frac{12}{55}$

(ii) 袋Aから白玉,袋Bから白玉が出るとき,その確率は,$\frac{5}{11}\times\frac{6}{10}=\frac{15}{55}$

よって,(i),(ii)は互いに排反であるから,求める確率は,$\frac{12}{55}+\frac{15}{55}=\frac{27}{55}$
